We were in La Grande Arche de La Defense, which was, once upon a time, impressive.
Now, you can’t walk around the edge in places as it is fenced off in case bits of the building fall off!
Similarly inside it all feels run down, tired.
Even if the Eurozone is falling off a cliff, it’s a shame when landmark sites in any major city begin to suffer.

Hi David,
This is Debbie (& Steve) in Dallas. Just looking over your latest works. I have to buy a couple of them for our new home. Next time you are up this way, you must plan on staying with us. Still want to go to London, maybe this summer. I have friends going in May, any suggestions on what they should do while they are there this time of year? Hope 2012 is a great year for you and your family! I am sure your children have grown quite a bit since last pics. My sister who was 55 passed in June, 2011.
